It feels good to do good, especially when doing good involves platters and platters of gorgeously delicious nibbles. Katie Brown and Company performed a party catering last Friday, which I had auctioned at a fundraiser for my daughter’s school. While the snow whizzed and whirled outside the Lauras and I put the final touches on our palate-pleasing platters, and whisked trays full of Za’atar pitas with cool cucumber slaw, eggplant-goat cheese stacks with black pepper honey, ¬†and bite-size¬†tostados with radish salsa through the pockets of party-ers. Laura and Laura noted that my trays always came back empty. I can’t help myself! I’m a food pusher because I’m a food lover. Looking at these photos, what’s not to love?
